Tired of slow net surfing? Well, one way to fix the problem is simply to tell Netscape Navigator not to display images. To turn off "automatic image loading" (as it's called), untick the Auto Load Images item in the Options menu of Netscape. This will enable you to surf quickly. If you want to stop and look at a page, use the Load Images option of the View menu.
One technique to use is to turn off image loading while searching the net for something and turn it on again when you find what you're looking for.
Note: I have heard that about 30% of Netscape users surf with
image loading turned off. This statistic means that people constructing
webs should ensure that they look reasonable when viewed without images.
