Step 16: Add Graphic To Each Place Page
Now that the home page is looking great, we can turn our attention to some of the other pages. The obvious candidates for improvement are the actual country pages which could do with a picture of the country. It's unfair on users to present a tantalizing small image on the home page without providing a bigger version on the linked page. So in this step, we add large images to each country page. How this was done should be clear by now.
The rough edge of the image on each country page was created by widening the image using white, then selecting just within them image content and inverting the selection so as to get an outer border than included the white and the outside of the image content. Then the Adobe.Pixellate.Crystalize(Size=4) filter was applied.
The images added in this step go a long way to making the web look professional. The web is nearly finished now. There's just one more thing to do...
