Q: Please send me a copy of your LZRW1 paper.
A: Reprints of my LZRW1 paper are available from the IEEE. Just ask for TH0373-1/91/0000/0362/$01.00.

Q: What is the latest information on the patent status of your algorithms?
A: I don't know. I'm not keeping track of data compression patents. The best information I have is from a few years back and is given on the patents page.

Q: I can't find compress.h and port.h
A: You can find these in the file old_lzrw_headers.h as described in the support code page.

Q: I can't get the compression C code to work
A: I can't get involved with debugging deployments of my algorithms. However, you should be aware that some of the C code for my LZRW algorithms has some portability problems. These will be fixed if I release up-to-date versions. In the meantime, if you run into problems, I suggest that you run lint over the code and see what turns up.
